CNN Reported No Plane Hit Pentagon
CNN Reported No Plane Hit Pentagon
Infowars.com February 25, 2005

Here is a video clip from CNN coverage on the morning of 9/11. CNN reporter Jamie McIntyre says he inspected the Pentagon site and it is obvious no plane crashed there.

JAMIE MCINTYRE: From my close-up inspection, there's no evidence of a plane having crashed anywhere near the Pentagon.

The only site, is the actual side of the building that's crashed in. And as I said, the only pieces left that you can see are small enough that you pick up in your hand. There are no large tail sections, wing sections, fuselage, nothing like that anywhere around which would indicate that the entire plane crashed into the side of the Pentagon and then caused the side to collapse.

Even though if you look at the pictures of the Pentagon you see that the floors have all collapsed, that didn't happenm immediately. It wasn't until almost about 45 minutes later that the structure was weakened enough that all of the floors collapsed.

Why The Truth About 9/11 Will Never Come Out

Free Press International Commentary
2.21.2005
First let me say that we should always try and bring the truth out, but that's not the purpose of this article. I believe the truth about the World Trade Center Disaster will not come out because our world leaders, who are the terrorists in my opinion, are going to pull off another 'enormous chaotic event' much bigger than 9/11 was.

It will cast a huge shadow over 9/11. I believe in my heart that most people know something's coming. Some call it Armageddon. Call it what you want but we all know deep inside, it's coming. Now to the purpose of this article.

If we all know it's coming, why is the world standing mute?

Ignorance is easier?

LEONARD PITTS: ALL THE NEWS THAT FITS THE REPUBLICAN LINE

Three weeks later, I'm still waiting for a good explanation of what Jeff Gannon was doing in the White House. And for you to be upset about it.

Gannon is the fellow who made himself memorable during last month's presidential news conference by asking about Democratic pessimism regarding the nation's economy. Specifically, he asked if President Bush could work with "people who seem to have divorced themselves from reality."

The unusually partisan phrasing prompted some reporters and liberal groups to ask the same question: Who is this guy?

Well, it turns out that Gannon is not really Gannon. James Guckert says he prefers that pseudonym for "commercial" reasons. It also turns out that a company he owns is the registered owner of several sexually suggestive Web addresses. Hotmilitarystud.com, to name just one.

Most curious of all, though, is that it turns out he is not really a reporter, at least not if that term still denotes a disinterested observer of events. Rather, Guckert writes for a Web site, talonnews.com, which is linked to another site, GOPUSA.com. That site serves, as you might gather, to promote the Republican Party.
Guckert resigned on Feb. 8, saying he and his family have been threatened and harassed. If true, that is deplorable.

But it's also deplorable that he was ever seated in the White House briefing room. As to how that happened, Bush spokesman Scott McClellan has pleaded ignorance, saying that "in this day and age, when you have a changing media, it's not an easy issue to decide, to try to pick and choose who is a journalist."

Which is patently ridiculous.

Contrary to the press secretary's Hamlet-like agonizing, it's not all that hard to know who is and is not a reporter. If an individual reports for a recognized media outlet that observes customary standards of journalistic integrity -- even if it tends to view the world through a conservative or liberal editorial prism -- that person is a reporter. But if the person works for an outlet that simply promotes, or advocates for, one political party or another, then the line between reporter and shill has been well and truly crossed.

It's not brain surgery. So you'll have to forgive me for not extending the benefit of doubt to McClellan. My problem is that he speaks for an administration with a long record of manipulating truth and propagandizing the public. These are the folks who pay pundits to say nice things about them. The ones who pressure scientists to change science that conflicts with political goals. The ones who ignore their own experts when confronted with information they'd rather not believe. And this is a president whose press conferences occur with only slightly more frequency than ice storms do in Key West, who ducks hard questions posed by actual reporters, preferring to bat slow pitches tossed by average citizens prescreened for their support.

So planting a party stooge among the real reporters hardly seems out of character.

The thing is, a government that is not scrutinized by an energetic and adversarial press is a government that is not accountable for its actions. A government that is allowed to create its own reality is a government that can get away with anything.

So where is our outrage?

Frankly, the only thing more galling than the brazenness with which the White House abrogates the public's right to know is the sheeplike docility with which we accept it, with which we become complicit in our own hoodwinking.

When the history of this era is written, people will wonder why we didn't challenge its excesses, why we didn't know the things we should have.

If you're still around, remember the uproar you do not hear right this moment, and tell them the truth:
Ignorance was easier.

Will the recent elections end the violence in Iraq?

Despite the Bush Administration’s spin on the success of the elections in Iraq, we know that democracy cannot be achieved under U.S. occupation. Our troops are still in harm’s way, Iraqi children and other civilians continue to die, and billions that could be spent at home are being wasted in Iraq. History also shows us that an election -- even with a high voter turnout -- does not spell success. Just look at the following excerpt from a 1967 New York Times article about elections in Vietnam:

U.S. Encouraged by Vietnam Vote : Officials Cite 83% Turnout Despite Vietcong TerrorBy Peter Grose, Special to the New York TimesSeptember 4th, 1967.

WASHINGTON, Sept. 3-- United States officials were surprised and heartened today at the size of turnout in South Vietnam's presidential election despite a Vietcong terrorist campaign to disrupt the voting. According to reports from Saigon, 83 per cent of the 5.85 million registered voters cast their ballots yesterday. Many of them risked reprisals threatened by the Vietcong. ... ... A successful election has long been seen as the keystone in President Johnson's policy of encouraging the growth of constitutional processes in South Vietnam. Read more at
After this 1967 election, U.S. troops remained for another 8 years with 50,000 of our men and women + 3 million Vietnamese dead. Let's not have history repeat itself. We know that the only way to move toward peace and democracy in Iraq is immediate withdrawal of all occupying forces. Bring the troops home now!

About John Negroponte - Biography and Controversies

His appointment to the UN post was a controversial one because of his involvement in covert funding of the Contras and his covering up of human rights abuses in Honduras in the 1980s. He is seen by many as a terrorist sponsor for supporting the Contra insurgency against the left wing Sandinistas, the first ever democratically elected government of Nicaragua. He is also acused of inciting Contra attacks on civilians.

A Mother's Day Proclamation, by Julia Ward Howe, Boston, 1870, according to Suzanne Taylor

Arise, then, women of this day!
Arise all women who have hearts...
We will not have great questions decided by irrelevant agencies,
Our husbands shall not come to us reeking of carnage,
For caresses and applause.
Our sons shall not be taken from us to unlearn
All that we have been able to teach them of charity, mercy and
patience...
Let [women] then solemnly take counsel with each other as to the means
Whereby the great human family can live in peace,
Each bearing after his own time the sacred impress, not of Caesar,
But of God...

The amicable settlement of international questions.

Tyranny....

Government and Tyranny
February 8, 2005, 12:34 pm
Just looking at some quotes from the brilliant minds of history and comparing them to Dubya`s musings, you start to see a worrying trend. The final quote from Scottish historian Sir Alex Fraser Tytler is perhaps the most worrying, when applied to the USA today.. The government of the United States is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion. George Washington "I've heard the call. I believe God wants me to run for president." - George Bush "I trust God speaks through me. Without that, I couldn’t do my job." - George Bush "And we base it, our history, and our decision making, our future, on solid values. The first value is, we're all God's children" - George Bush "I wouldn't pick a judge who said that the Pledge of Allegiance couldn't be said in a school because it had the words 'under God'' in it. I think that's an example of a judge allowing personal opinion to enter into the decision-making process, as opposed to strict interpretation of the Constitution" - George Bush "We need common-sense judges who understand our rights were derived from God," - George Bush This and no other is the root from which a tyrant springs; when he first appears he is a protector. Plato "I believe the most solemn duty of the American president is to protect the American people. If America shows uncertainty and weakness in this decade, the world will drift toward tragedy. This will not happen on my watch" - George Bush "I will never relent in defending America - whatever it takes" - George Bush "As a matter of fact, when we gave [Saddam Hussein] the final chance, he continued to deceive and evade. So I have a choice to make at this point in our history. Do I forget the lessons of September the 11th and take the word of a madman, or do I take action to defend this country?"- George Bush If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy. James Madison The means of defense against foreign danger historically have become the instruments of tyranny at home. James Madison "America must not ignore the threat gathering against us. Facing clear evidence of peril, we cannot wait for the final proof, the smoking gun that could come in the form of a mushroom cloud" - George Bush "In the war on terror, you have fought enemies' freedom -- freedom's enemies from the caves and mountains of Afghanistan to the deserts and cities of Iraq" - George Bush. "Hundreds of thousands of American servicemen and women are deployed across the world in the war on terror. By bringing hope to the oppressed, and delivering justice to the violent, they are making America more secure" - George Bush Liberty has never come from the government. Liberty has always come from the subjects of government. The history of liberty is the history of resistance. The history of liberty is a history of the limitation of governmental power, not the increase of it. Woodrow Wilson "The Patriot Act defends our liberty." - George Bush Dictatorship naturally arises out of democracy, and the most aggravated form of tyranny and slavery out of the most extreme liberty. Plato "We exercise power without conquest, and we sacrifice for the liberty of strangers" - George Bush "I believe in the transformational power of liberty"- George Bush "The best way to defeat them is to never waver, to be strong, to use every asset at our disposal, to constantly stay on the offensive and, at the same time, spread liberty" - George Bush As long as I don't write about the government, religion, politics, and other institutions, I am free to print anything. Pierre de Beaumarchais Criticism of government finds sanctuary in several portions of the 1st Amendment. It is part of the right of free speech. It embraces freedom of the press. Hugo L. Black Paramount among the responsibilities of a free press is the duty to prevent any part of the government from deceiving the people and sending them off to distant lands to die of foreign fevers and foreign shot and shell. Hugo L. Black Media "Distortions" The one pervading evil of democracy is the tyranny of the party that succeeds, by force or fraud, in carrying elections. Lord Acton The 2004 US Elections: The Mother of all Vote Frauds I have often thought that if a rational Fascist dictatorship were to exist, then it would choose the American system. Naom Chomsky "It would be a heck of a lot easier to be a dictator than work in a democracy" - George Bush "If this were a dictatorship, it'd be a heck of a lot easier... just so long as I'm the dictator" - George Bush " It's not a dictatorship in Washington, but I tried to make it one in that instance. We are beginning to see some success in opening up federal coffers for faith-based programs" - George Bush Once a government is committed to the principle of silencing the voice of opposition, it has only one way to go, and that is down the path of increasingly repressive measures, until it becomes a source of terror to all its citizens and creates a country where everyone lives in fear . Harry S. Truman "Every nation in every region now has a decision to make. Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists." - George Bush The Framers of the Constitution knew that free speech is the friend of change and revolution. But they also knew that it is always the deadliest enemy of tyranny. Hugo L. Black When any government, or any church for that matter, undertakes to say to its subjects, This you may not read, this you must not see, this you are forbidden to know, the end result is tyranny and oppression no matter how holy the motives. Robert A. Heinlein See any of the below sites for Dubya`s Patriot Act 1 and 11 The Revolution of 1800 and the USA PATRIOT Act WRH Prison Planet RENSE A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largess of the public treasury. From that time on the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury, with the results that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's great civilizations has been 200 years. These nations have progressed through this sequence:from bondage to spiritual faith;from spiritual faith to great courage;from courage to liberty;from liberty to abundance;from abundance to selfishness;from selfishness to complacency;from complacency to apathy;from apathy to dependency;from dependency back again to bondage. What Does A Backwards American Flag With Yellow Fringe Mean?
Free Press International Commentary2.11.2005I do not claim to know everything about the backwards American flag with yellow fringe but this articles purpose is to find the truth, hopefully with some of FPIs readers.Every soldier in the Army must now wear the U.S. flag insignia on his or her utility uniform, according to a new Army rule. Soldiers have until Oct. 1, 2005, to get the insignia sewn on their uniforms. The flag Schoomaker has authorized for wear is the "reverse field" or "backwards flag" patch, in red, white and blue with yellow fringe.I have gone over World War I,World War II and Vietnam pictures and have yet to find an American flag on their combat uniforms. Army Regulation 670-1states that when authorized for application to the proper uniform the American flag patch is to be worn, right or left shoulder, so that “the star field faces forward, or to the flag’s own right. When worn in this manner, the flag is facing to the observer’s right, and gives the effect of the flag flying in the breeze as the wearer 'moves forward'. The appropriate replica for the right shoulder sleeve is identified as the ‘reverse side flag’.”This makes no sense. What if the soldiers are marching 'downwind'?As one person wrote, The "backwards flag" is no silly affectation. It is part of a well-planned and coordinated effort to subvert our national sovereignty. As pointed out, reversing the display of a nation's flag can sometimes result in the flag becoming that of another nation. At any rate, it ceases to be a legally emblematic of the sponsoring nation. It is part of the body of the International Laws of Warfare that combatants not PROPERLY displaying the flag of their nation on their uniforms are not considered to be under the command and control of that nation. All this nonsense about a flag emblem sewn on a uniform not looking like a flag on a pole moving backwards is the most ridiculous and transparent non-reason that I can imagine to try to disguise the real intent. No rational 7-year old would buy such idiocy, but most adults will because they have had more years of government indoctrination. Because we are fighting a worldwide "War on Terrorism", surrender of any and all of our rights, individual as well as national, is expected and will, almost universally, be gladly given. Martial law under a high-tech police state is just around the corner, folks. As to the yellow fringe on our flags, APFN states, The flags displayed in State courts and courts of the United States have gold or yellow fringes. That is your WARNING that you are entering into a foreign enclave, the same as if you are stepping into a foreign embassy and you will be under the jurisdiction of that flag. The flag with the gold or yellow fringe has no constitution, no laws, and no rules of court, and is not recognized by any nation on the earth, and is foreign to you and the United States of America. more informationMILITARY FLAG WITH THE GOLD FRINGEMartial Law Flag "Pursuant to 4 U.S.C. chapter 1, §§1, 2, & 3; Executive Order 10834, August 21, 1959; 24 F.R.6865; a military flag is a flag that resembles the regular flag of the United States, except that it has a YELLOW FRINGE border on three sides. The President of the United States designates this deviation from the regular flag, by executive order, and in his capacity as Commander-in-Chief of the military. The placing of a fringe on the national flag, the dimensions of the flag and the arrangement of the stars in the union are matters of detail not controlled by statute, but are within the discretion of the President as Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy." 34 Ops. Gen. 83.President, Dwight David Eisenhower, by Executive Order No.10834, signed on August 21, 1959 and printed in the Federal Register at 24 F.R. 6865, pursuant to law, stated that: "A military flag is a flag that resembles the regular flag of the United States, except that it has a yellow fringe border on three sides."If you would like to contribute to this article please email us at:news@freepressinternational.com or use our tipline/feedback form.APFNArmy Reg.670-1(pdf)Estripes

War as a sporting event?

AFP February 4, 2005
FLASHBACK: Top US Marine General: 'It's Fun To Shoot People'
The Pentagon Thursday defended a Marine Corps general who told an audience this week that it was "fun to shoot some people," as he discussed fighting insurgents in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Mattis, who led troops in Afghanistan and Iraq, made the remarks Tuesday in San Diego, California during a panel discussion on military tactics in Iraq, telling the audience it was "fun to shoot some people."

"Actually, it's a lot of fun to fight. You know, it's a hell of a hoot. ... I like brawling," said Mattis, the commanding general of the Marine Corps Combat Development Command in Quantico, Virginia.
"You go into Afghanistan, you got guys who slap women around for five years because they didn't wear a veil," Mattis said. "You know, guys like that ain't got no manhood left anyway. So it's a hell of a lot of fun to shoot them."
The audience laughed and applauded after he made his remarks, which were shown on US television.
The vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Marine Corps General Peter Pace, defended Mattis when asked about the remarks at a Pentagon press conference Thursday.
In a statement, the Marine Corps commandant, Hagee, called Mattis "one of this country's bravest and most experienced military leaders. While I understand that some people may take issue with the comments made by him, I also know he intended to reflect the unfortunate and harsh realities of war," Hagee said. "Lieutenant General Mattis often speaks with a great deal of candor."

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) called on the Pentagon to discipline Mattis.
"We do not need generals who treat the grim business of war as a sporting event," said CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad. "These disturbing remarks are indicative of an apparent indifference to the value of human life."

...."It was during that period that I became interested in freemasonry. ... In the eighteenth century freemasonry became expressive of a militant policy of enlightenment, as in the case of the Illuminati, who were the forerunners of the revolution; on its left it culminated in the Carbonari. Freemasons counted among their members both Louis XVI and the Dr. Guillotin who invented the guillotine. In southern Germany freemasonry assumed an openly revolutionary character, whereas at the court of Catherine the Great it was a masquerade reflecting the aristocratic and bureaucratic hierarchy. A freemason Novikov was exiled to Siberia by a freemason Empress. I discontinued my work on freemasonry to take up the study of Marxian economics. ... The work on freemasonry acted as a sort of test for these hypotheses. ... I think this influenced the whole course of my intellectual development."

Ethics? Whatever.. Sign the petition please...

As we predicted a couple of weeks ago, Rep. Joel Hefley (R-CO) was ousted today as chairman of the House Ethics Committee. In replacing Hefley, HouseSpeaker Dennis Hastert (R-IL) is sending a clear signal that partisan politics trumps accountability and ethical standards in the "people's House." Rep. Hefley led an Ethics Committee that took difficult steps in investigating and ultimately admonishing House Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-TX) for unethical behavior three separate times last year. Today, Rep. Hefley's leadership is beingtossed aside as an apparent punishment for having the chutzpah to stand up to DeLay and carry out his duty as Ethics Committee Chairman honorably.
It seems DeLay's ethical crisis has brought yet another dishonor to the House leadership, which felt compelled toremove someone who actually believed in upholding ethical standards. This is why it is so important for all of usto make an unequivocal statement that we cannot let the leadership in DeLay's Congress compromise all ethicalstandards and trump accountability with partisan politics. So if you haven't already, please sign our petition calling forDeLay to step down as the Majority Leader:
www.commoncause.org/StepDownDeLay
We have set a goal of collecting 100,000 signatures before we present the petition, and we have already collected wellover 50,000. So, if you have already signed our petition please forward it to all of your family, friends or colleagues andurge them to join our campaign to hold DeLay accountable:
http://www.commoncause.org/joinDeLayPetition
We don't know yet what kind of Ethics Committee Hefley's replacement, Rep. Doc Hastings (R-WA), will run. But giventhe rules changes the House leaders passed last month that will make it much harder to initiate investigations, plus thechilling cloud under which they showed Hefley the door, it is hard to imagine there will be much activity. House leaders claim that they replaced Hefley as ethics chairman due to term limits. Yet on the first day of the 109thCongress the same leaders waived the term limit rule so Rep. David Dreier (R-CA) could serve another term as Chairmanof the Rules Committee. Clearly the leadership could have allowed Hefley to stay on if they wanted.
Again, we cannot afford to sit back and let this kind of partisan power play go unchecked. So if you have not done soalready, please make sure to sign on to our campaign to remove DeLay as the Majority Leader of the "people's House," where partisan politics today trumped accountability and ethical standards.

"Privatize" by any other name is still an "Enron"..

Dear Somebody, Anybody please give $$,
Tonight, in his State of the Union speech, President Bush will use hard-sell tactics to try to build public support for his radical plan to privatize Social Security. He will try to create a sense of crisis -- even though Social Security is secure for decades to come. And he will disguise the risks involved in his dangerous plan to make Social Security a stock market gamble.
There's no better time than now for you to stand up against the Bush plan to dismantle Social Security. Help us launch our campaign to stop President Bush with your donation today.
https://www.democrats.org/support/
The President may be using hard-sell tactics. But the truth is, he's having a hard time selling his Social Security plan even to Republicans in Congress. They're getting skittish about the political implications of Bush's privatization plan. In fact, they won't even use the word "privatize" anymore.
We've got to make it clear that we will do everything in our power to defeat any Republican who stand with Bush in 2005 in favor of cutting benefits and adding trillions to the already exploding Bush deficit.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Republicans who have to face the voters in 2005 are demanding "political cover" from the Bush White House if they vote for the reckless Bush plan to undermine Social Security's future. We've got to make it plain to them that, if they vote to diminish Social Security, there will be no place to hide.
Make Republicans accountable -- help fund our "No Place to Hide Campaign."
https://www.democrats.org/support/
Standing in sharp contrast to Republican doublespeak on this issue is the clarity and strength of conviction of Democratic Senators, including those in the states where Bush will campaign for his reckless plan tomorrow. See for yourself:
Senator Blanche Lincoln (D-AR): "I'm opposed to what the President presumably wants to do. It puts in jeopardy a program that is vital to the people of Arkansas and is misleading to the young people as to what they're going to end up with." Senator Kent Conrad (D-ND): "I will not be part of unraveling the commitment of Social Security based on gutting the benefits and hoping the stock market makes up the difference and funding the transition with borrowing." Senator Bill Nelson (D-FL): "I will oppose diverting money from the Social Security trust fund. I will fight against cuts to Social Security benefits. I will fight against any plan that relies on massive borrowing and increases the debt. And I will fight to protect this program that provides a safe and reliable source of retirement income for millions of Americans."
Democrats are standing tall on Social Security. Stand with them right now. Support the Democratic Party's Campaign to Save Social Security. As long as we keep speaking out and acting on our convictions, Bush can never win.
